How to Create a Staff Account in TailPro
This video provides a step-by-step guide on how an admin can create a new staff account in TailPro, enabling team members to access the system and manage their work.
It begins on the dashboard, where the admin navigates to the user management section by tapping the second icon from the right in the bottom menu. At the top of the screen, multiple tabs are displayed, including pending requests, all staff, all customers, and all administrators. The admin selects “Show All” under the staff section to view the current team.
To add a new staff member, the admin taps the plus icon at the bottom right corner, which opens the create staff form.
The form starts with entering personal details such as the staff member’s first and last name, email address, gender, contact number, and full address. The email address is particularly important as it is used for logging into the TailPro staff app.
Next, the admin assigns skills to the staff member. This step ensures that the staff member is only assigned to relevant services based on their expertise, improving job allocation and rota management.
The video then highlights the “active” toggle. When enabled, the staff member gains access to the system, including their schedule and job notifications. This toggle can also be turned off later to temporarily disable access without deleting the account.
Following this, the admin sets up the weekly schedule. This includes defining working hours, either by applying the same schedule across all days or by customising specific time slots for individual days. These hours determine the staff member’s availability for bookings.
Once all details are completed, the admin taps the save option at the top right corner. The staff account is then successfully created.
Finally, the video explains that the staff member can log in using their email address and a one-time passcode sent to them. After logging in, they will be able to view their schedule, manage assigned jobs, and handle bookings through the TailPro app.
